Roger
Roger Williams is the CEO and co-founder of Launch Learning Group, a training company that specializes in innovative pre-licensing courses for state insurance licensing exams in the State of Michigan. Roger and his partner Antonella noticed the high failure rates for current licensing courses and cultivated their ideas while in Bizdom U. They transformed what is typically a mundane course into a dynamic interactive experience, delivered in a way that enables new hires to pass the exam the first time. Plans are in the works to eventually offer the courses online in all fifty states. Prior to launching Roger grew up in the Metro Detroit area and graduated from Romulus High School. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Siena Heights University and later attended Eastern Michigan University to pursue a degree in Secondary Education. Roger worked in the educational field for nine years which has included teaching high school math in Detroit and working as an advocate for youth. He has a passion for making a difference in the lives of youth.
Antonella
Antonella Solomon is the Chief Operating Officer of Launch Learning Group, LLC and co-founder. She assists with the daily management, development and growth of the company. Launch Learning Group specializes in innovative licensing courses that are state-certified by the Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation and taught by experienced and licensed trainers. The courses are infused with technology and use competitive games, animated videos and proven test-taking strategies that appeal to adult learning styles. The courses prepare individuals to pass the state exam, a requirement to sell insurance or receive commissions in the State of Michigan. Antonella has held sales, management and leadership positions and has been a licensed insurance agent since 2005. This experience helped her recognize the below-average passing rate for current licensing courses, which led the creation of the business concept for Launch Learning Group. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Merchandise Management from Michigan State University.
Jonathon
Jonathon Baugh is the CEO and co-founder of an electric medical records company focused on dermatology called Dermanaut. He has over 10 years of experience designing a wide variety of computer user interfaces. His clientele include organizations from city municipalities, Top 25 Universities, and Fortune 500 companies to small technology startups. Following his education, he further developed his skills in the user-centered design process through work with Menlo Innovations, a software firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In this position, Jonathon further refined his understanding of the art and process of good design. Dermanaut has developed a web-based electronic medical record (EMR) system specifically for use in private-practice dermatology offices.
