Tawnya

Born and raised in the city of Detroit, Tawnya was attending Wayne State University pursing a major in Marketing when the Bizdom U entrepreneur program caught her attention. At this time she was working with a business professor at Wayne State University developing a business plan. Upon completing the Bizdom U program Tawnya began exploring an opportunity to provide an affordable marketing platform to the small business sector. Her passion for shopping with local and independent businesses will allow her to launch the marketing platform in spring 2010. In her spare time she promotes local music artists and enjoys networking with eco-friendly social groups.
John

Born outside of Chicago, John moved to Metro Detroit at the age of 3. In his final year at Oakland University he found out about Bizdom U and immediately recognized the program's potential. John believes, now more than ever, it's vital for Southeast Michigan to cultivate its small business growth. "Small business accounts for 50% of all employment nationally. It also gives an area its unique flavor and feel - it's a no brainer." This transformation of the economic and cultural landscape of Detroit stays on the forefront of his life goals.
Clover

A native Detroiter, Clover is a graduate of Renaissance High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Howard University. After completing her studies, Clover’s extreme passion for the city brought her back to Detroit and the promise of new and exciting development kept her here. With the strong desire to become a self-empowered entrepreneur, Clover was led to Bizdom U. She looks forward to being involved in the total operation of her business, from concept to effectuation. Most important, Clover is very excited to be a part of Detroit’s economic revitalization.
