Entrepreneurs, who receive approval for the funding of their business, move into our Launch Pad space. Here, they launch their business and collaborate with our Business Unit Leader to execute on their business plan. Entrepreneurs attend up to eight months of ongoing training where the focus shifts from business creation to business leadership. Now that entrepreneurs have begun launching their businesses, a whole new set of issues arise from hiring employees, to negotiating contracts and determining their key business metrics. Entrepreneurs will therefore attend training once a week on average with industry experts to address these topics. They will learn how to recruit and instill a successful culture in their team. We focus on “Doing the Right Thing” in establishing relationships with vendors and business partners and we practice the fundamentals of business law, contracts, negotiations, insurance and taxation.
Our Launch Pad space includes desks, computers, phones, and printers. They will share fax machines, copy machines, conference rooms, kitchen space and other facilities. Entrepreneurs will also have access to our network of experts throughout our family of companies.
